Christians Who Don't Know Him Continue in Iniquity and Self Deception

Some extremely dangerous and erronerous teaching is surfacing in the Body of Christ.  Teaching that speaks the truth that Christ died for every sin and that He took the judgment of God for the whole world, but then acts as if God winks at sin and no one has any responsibility to live according to God's Word.    Actually only repented sin is covered by the price paid by Jesus.  To repent means to completely change your mind concerning an issue.  If you no longer agree with a lie from the enemy and you choose to believe the truth of God's Word, then the lie  (stronghold) will lose it's power to hold you in sin.  The key is that you no longer agree with the sin or sin attitude and the power of the Holy Spirit will deliver you from all evil.  

The problem is that many have given into their sinful habits and attitudes and can not seem to find freedom, so their itching ears find teachers who pervert truth to satisfy their guilt.  Much of the Church has lost the power of the Holy Spirit and has substituted doctrine of man to justify the powerlessness she has experienced.  Selfish ambition seems to be a motivator for many of the teachers that embrace doctrine that appeases the conscience of man without a heart change that produces true holy behavior. 

Those who feel that the most important position that Jesus has walked in was "the Son of Man" and they identify Him as being their brother.  They do not understand fully the revelation that Peter received from the Heavenly Father that the Church would be built upon and that the gates of hell could not prevail against was Jesus as the " Son of God".  Jesus was God in the flesh. When the Word states that He was without reputation but humbled Himself as a man, I believe it reveals that the express image of God Himself, Jesus Christ, chose to walk in obedience to the Father and yield to the Spirit.  He would do nothing of Himself.  Hence, He was revealing how we could yield to the Holy Spirit and know what God in flesh would look like when He ascended and sent His Spirit to dwell in man.

  Jesus did come in flesh that He could redeem us from the evil one who had taken the authority from Adam.  Jesus was the last Adam as to redeem mankind.  However , the authority belongs to our Lord (hence why He is called Lord and we are not).  As I yield my very life to the Holy Spirit, He will sanctify it (getting the evil out thus producing true holiness).  Holiness is the absence of evil. 

To know God is to desire a relationship with Jesus based upon wanting to understand Him and His ways.  As we come to know Him we will understand Him.  We will fall in love with Him and doing as He commands will be are desire.  The Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth and bring us into the freedom that Jesus paid for with His own life.  Being holy is not just a simple phase without meaning.  It is not self righteousness that leads to judgmental attitudes and feeling of superiority.  Being holy is the outcome of spending time with a Holy God and yielding to His Spirit.  When I agree with the Lord then His power works in me to change me into His likeness.  We must not be silent and let our brothers and sisters continue to walk in ungodliness and call it freedom.

Why Are So Many Who Do Love God Straying From the Truth of the Identity of Jesus

The epistles are apostolic letters directed to believers of Jesus Christ.  They emphasize the working of the Holy Spirit on the earth to bring people to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and the need to repent of our sins.  The working of the Holy Spirit in the hearts of followers will bring about holiness.  He has been sent to convict the world of sin and then to enforce the finished work of the cross. Sanctification is a reoccuring theme throughout the apostles' letters to the church.  The Holy Spirit yearns for us to open our hearts to His work.  We will be amazed at the evil that lurks in hiding because we have not spent the time asking the Holy Spirit to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 

One of the reasons that so many are trying to be like Jesus instead of understanding that we are to yield to the Holy Spirit revealing Jesus through our lives, is because we are still trying to prove that we have value or purpose.  Many have been content to believe that Jesus was just our "older brother" who showed us what we should be like.  The emphasis for many has turned to who we are in Christ instead of who He is in us.  The work of sanctification will free us from our own insecurities or highmindedness.  We would understand that God is not trying to use us but that His love completes us.  Then our love for Him draws us to spend time in His presence.  Becoming intimate with Christ will lead to fellowship with the Heavenly Father.  Our identity will no longer be about what we do or what we have, but will be based on who He is and what He did.  Unconditional love will heal our broken hearted places. Our greatest joy will be spending time with Him.  Then our only motivation for ministry will be to share Him with others.  His love pouring into us and then out of us to the world.   I hope you spend some time listening to the teaching on Beauty For Ashes web site.  Check out the video's in our media department and find hours of teaching and inner healing that will set you free to be content just knowing this awesome God who came in skin to die for us.  He then made a way for His Spirit to live in our skin (flesh) so as to bring forth a new creation that changes everything about our exsistance.  Oh this relationship with God is so deep and beautiful. 

Restorartion of the Apostolic on the Horizon

I know we have just about everyone calling themselves an apostle. Some are standing in that office positionally but not authoritatively or empowered by the Holy Spirit for the office.  The word apostle can be defined as a delegate, which means one who walks in the same authority and power as the one they represent.  I am so excited about the emergence of those God anoints and empowers as apostles because they will begin to prepare a people who will move in apostolic love and power to bring in the harvest.  This move of God will embrace all that God has restored, setting the church free from the darkness that she walked in during the dark ages, when an institutionalized organization replaced the Spirit-led Church. It will be different than the previous moves that have restored the pastors, evangelist, teachers and currently the prophets.  With each of these movements towards biblical restoration of the church, not only did the five fold leaders emerge but the people themselves took on the attributes that were restored.  We have people who minister on a personal level with counselling and guidance literally pastoring, we have people evangelizing, studying the Word to be approved, and now hearing God for themselves and revealing His heart to others.  Just as with these restorations, the apostolic gifting will first be restored to five fold leaders who will then equip the Body to walk in apostolic authority and power.  I will share later what I feel God is revealing to me concerning this restoration.

Can the Brain Really Figure out the Things of the Spirit?

When we try to intellectualize the Word of God we will fail to find Truth.  Truth is only found in a relationship with Truth Himself, Jesus.  The church is being restored from the dark ages.During the dark ages man  institutionalize the church and brought it to a place of intellectualism that made the theories of man take the place of the leading of the Holy Spirit.  As in the book of Galatians we can conclude that the church was bewitched and began to use the intellect to finish what was begun in the Spirit.  You are so missing what this walk with God is really about if you spend your life trying to understand the mysteries of God through intellectual study and research.  When we label and formulate theories for understanding the Bible we actually allow intellectualism (we all have darkend intellects since the fall) which is an enemy towards the spiritual revelations that come by intimacy with God, note that the true revelations will always line up with what God has revealed in His Holy Word.  The revelations will always lift up Jesus as the Son of God and as Lord of all that call upon His name for salvation.  The intellect needs it's rightful place in the study of the Word, for we are commanded to study to be approved and to rightly divide the Word of God.  We need to be the most spiritual people on the planet but our spirituality will produce a sensibility that will amaze the world.  The church seems to divide into two camps concerning spiritualism and intellectualism.  On one hand you have the intellectual debates and constant highmindedness that uses the mind to dictate truth.  On the other exteme you have spiritualism that produces fake faith and outlandish claims that do not come to past thereby causing people to mock Christianity.  I believe the restoration of true apostolic ministry will restore the character of Christ to be seen in the people of God, the power of God released to bring forth miracles that will confirm the truth of our message concerning Jesus as Lord and the unconditionally love that can forgive in the cruelist attempts of evil to overtake us.  We will have a unity based on the Word being taught with power and a witness in our inner most being concerning truth.  Just remember when you read the Word ask the Teacher Himself to guide you into all truth (Holy Spirit teach me the ways of God) and know that He will use all of Scripture to bring you into the two commandments that Jesus revealed to us:  Love the Lord your God with all of your heart, soul, mind and strenght and love your neighbor as yourself.  Sounds easy but for it to be real the Holy Spirit will take you on a journey to completeness in Christ.  Enjoy God or you are missing what this journey is really about.....knowing God.

Transitioning into the Apostolic Movement

The prophets of the old testament need to be studied by all those who have entered into the revelations of the prophetic movement.  Of course all Christians and non-christians could benefit from studying the prophets of the scriptures but I want to address those who are in the "Prophetic River Movement".  First let me assure you that I love every movement that the Holy Spirit breathes life into.  I attend and have sponsored events with many of the leaders of the "River Movement".  My desire is to prepare those who have hungered for God to reveal His glory, to understand the transitioning that is taking place as we approach the infancy of the Apostolic Movement being restored.  I will comment on what God has revealed to me concerning the prophetic movement with it's pure revelations as well as exposing the mixture that has crept into the "River".  My desire is to be the voice that God has called me to be even if some people aren't open to God sending prophetic voices to bring not only direction but correction (hence the need to study the prophets).  Looking forward to your comments and your support.  I know that many have felt a need to voice their disapproval at times of what others have tried to label christian freedom but truly only glorifies sin and perversion.  Just felt led to have a blog where I could speak what God is revealing to me so that those who are led to read it and participate could.  God bless and thank you Jesus for freedom in you.
